Tibia global or old-school global: what experience do you want?
“Global” appears in searches for official Tibia and in OTServer descriptions offering a familiar experience. Before choosing, separate three questions: who runs the project, which version it uses and which rules it actually provides.
Official Tibia and global-style OTServers are different projects
For Tibia operated by CipSoft, use the official tibia.com website. An OTServer has its own administration, account, rules and distribution. GoldenOT is independent of CipSoft; an official Tibia account or character is not a GoldenOT account or character.

What to check in an “old-school global” description
Treat “old-school global”, “global antigo” and “classic” as an approach to verify, rather than a complete technical specification. Ask which version base is used, which cities and quests are available and which mechanics have changed. An advertised older version can coexist with custom features.
Version, map and systems are separate criteria
Use the table below to organize your comparison. Do not infer all content from a version number, or assume that two servers with familiar maps share the same economy. Each world’s documentation should explain the differences that affect your adventure.

How this choice works in GoldenOT
Goldera uses an advertised 8.60 base with custom equipment and Golden enchantment. Lunara starts from an 8.0 base with its own systems. Nadira uses a 7.72 base with a Rooker start. Bestiary, Prey, Forge and Market are part of the published offering in all three worlds; they are not presented here as unchanged historical recreations.

Alongside familiar visuals, compare experience stages, loot, equipment progression, PvP and reset conditions. If you play briefly each day, the stage after the first levels may matter more than the starting rate. Read the complete table and discuss it with your group.
Turn nostalgia into a concrete choice
If you want a classic base with added features, compare the worlds and open their respective wikis. If your priority is a specific historical mechanic, check that mechanic before creating a character. GoldenOT is in Beta, with published conditions for resetting progress.
