RubinOT and GoldenOT: which approach suits you?
If you are researching RubinOT and considering alternatives, this guide covers differences that help you choose. RubinOT and GoldenOT are separate projects: accounts, characters and purchases do not transfer between them.
What RubinOT offers
The official page we reviewed groups RubinOT worlds by region and mode: Optional PvP, Open PvP and Retro PvP. Examples include Auroria, Bellum and Cellenium. Check the particular world you intend to join rather than assuming one rule applies across the network.

When GoldenOT may be worth trying
If you want an alternative to RubinOT based on classic versions 8.60, 8.0 or 7.72, start with our world guides. If a specific PvP mode or your friends’ community matters most, check that requirement first. This comparison does not promise an identical experience.
